Alyssa Rivers
Speaker Logistics Captain
Alyssa is the Speaker Logistics Captain for the 2019 Mark Conference. She is a junior majoring in Communications with a specialization in Public Relations, and minoring in International and Global Studies while learning French. She is also the Assistant Director for Dancer Relations for the 2019 Dance Marathon, a member of Scarlet Council, Scarlet PR, and PRSSA. Within the Department of Leadership and Experiential Learning, Alyssa has also served as a retreat leader for both Camp UKnight and the Discovery Program, she was an Ambassador, and participated in the First Year Fellowship, Seeking Success and served as a Peer Leader Mentor. Alyssa loves spending time with family and friends, traveling the world and learning languages as she aspires to be a polyglot. She’s always down to do new things and learn whenever she can and loves meeting new people. She was inspired by the Mark Conference when she attended it her freshman year, that she decided to be on the SWAT team and is now a Captain as she hopes to inspire and encourage attendees like she was when she first saw the Mark Conference!
