Shreeya Sawant
Energizers & Fundraising Captain
Shreeya is the Energizers Captain and Intern for the 2020 Mark Conference. A senior double majoring in Cell Biology and Neuroscience and Psychology, she hopes to fulfill her dream of becoming a physician after she graduates from Rutgers this year. Shreeya began her leadership journey as a Camp UKnight participant as an incoming first year and has continued on to not only become a Camp UKnight Retreat Leader, but also serve as a Peer Leadership Mentor, Legacy Peer Leadership Mentor, and LEx Ambassador Team member. When she is not with the LEx family, you can find her researching olfaction in a behavioral neuroscience lab, or tutoring students in science and writing through the Student Support Services program. To unwind, she loves hanging out with friends, creating unique outfits, listening to music, writing poetry, singing to herself and close friends, and spending too much time on Twitter and Youtube. Last year, she attended the Mark Conference for the first time. Ignited by the message and diversity of speakers, she is honored to be a part of the 2020 Mark Conference team that brings this year’s inspiring conference to life.
