Thalia Contreras is a fourth year student at Rutgers University majoring in Biology, and minoring in Nutrition and Africana Studies. Her pre-med track has her focused toward a future career as a Medical Examiner, which she plans to do autopsies for the FBI. Alongside her studies her activism on campus includes being the President of her multicultural sorority, Chi Upsilon Sigma National Latin Sorority, Incorporated, being a Site Leader for Rutgers Alternative Breaks, a campus brand ambassador for Bead Head Styling, and a manager at everyone’s favorite on campus lunch spot, Kilmer’s Market. She is a Latina woman who does not let her minority restrict her from making a huge impact. Taking things one step at a time, she continuously asks “where will my feet take me tomorrow?”
