Caitlin Uriarte Bio

My name is Caitlin Uriarte. I am currently a Graduate Student at the Rutgers School of Public Health with a concentration in Social and Behavioral Health Sciences. I hope to graduate by May 2024. A fun fact about me is that I am an influencer under @cu.behindthescenes. I am a lifestyle influencer and love highlighting fun activities anywhere I go. I have had amazing collaboration opportunities with businesses in London, Arizona, NJ, and NYC. I hope to collaborate in more places in the future and share my love for travel. I hope to one day incorporate Public Health and Communication, possibly Health Communication campaigns with an influencer twist. I was an Ignite Speaker two years ago, an Ignite Speaker Captain last year, and now the 2024 Speakers Captain. In my Ignite speech, I spoke about how I tried to find my identity after graduating in 2019 and getting my first real job in the real world. I was able to train student speakers to take on the MainStage and it was great to create a bond with each one of them. As you can probably tell I love making my MARK and being a Scarlet Knight. I am so excited for this year’s MainStage Speakers! I had fun brainstorming who would fit our theme of “Dare to Dream.” I would love to leave my mark on Rutgers and the world by showing the grit I had over the years from Undergraduate years to Graduate years. There will be trials and tribulations but when you keep going it shows true character and authenticity and you will find yourself along the way. An important woman in my life, my mom, told me all the time growing up, “If there is a will there’s a way!”
