Understanding this Year’s Theme: Unity and Harmony
Every year our team of student leaders planning the conference selects a theme that they want to conference to focus on. This year, the conference theme is “Unity and Harmony”. MARK Leadership Conference Intern, Jui Khatal speaks about why this conference is important, “At its core, one of the most profound, yet often overlooked skills is the journey of self-realization; the journey that college prepares us for. By uncovering who we are beyond external influences, we discover a deeper truth: we are intricately and innately connected to everything and unified with the world around us.” Khatal goes on to say, “Through cultivating love, resilience, and inner unity, we unlock the power to approach challenges with wisdom, peace, and harmony. At this crucial juncture in History, now more than ever, this inward transformation not only elevates our personal growth but also enables us to lead with compassion, love, and purpose in a world that needs it most.”
