Daniel Reji is a senior at the Rutgers Business School, studying marketing & entrepreneurship. He is the founder & CEO of SafeHalo, an on-demand buddy escort system for Rutgers students walking home at night. The idea was born during Reji’s sophomore year when a research paper inspired him to learn more about the sexual assault epidemic on college campuses. After months of research, he realized that the solution does not revolve around increased campus security, but around trust.
While Reji has already established a business of his own, his first love is still storytelling. His major life goal is to write a scripted series for HBO or Netflix.
