Farah Elattar, School of Arts and Sciences ’19, is a Philosophy and Cinema Studies double major, with a minor in French. She is in the SAS Honors Program, and has been on the Dean’s list since her first year of school. She is a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, and is the program director for 90.3 The Core FM, which broadcasts from Livingston Campus. Farah is also a peer mentor for the 2017-2018 academic year, through the honors mentoring program, which enables her to help incoming students find their way at Rutgers. She plans to attend graduate school and law school, and aims to fight for women’s rights in problematic areas, with a particular focus on improving the status of women in the Middle East.
